Our Conveyancing Fees

Everyone wants certainty about what he or she will pay for conveyancing or for any other legal bill. So we offer all-inclusive, fixed conveyancing fees, by that we mean including GST and disbursements.

Our fee structure is different to most other solicitors or conveyancing professionals. There are no add-ons to our bill, unless you ask us to do some additional work. 

If your purchase or sale matter falls through before your agreement becomes unconditional, eg. failed building report or finance, then we reserve right to charge an initial processing fee of $150, plus any Kiwisaver and HNZ Grant processing fees and plus any out of pocket expenses already incurred, such as title searches or other LINZ fees, etc.

If your matter falls through after the Agreement becomes unconditional, then full fees are payable.

Our standard residential conveyancing prices are as below (for one property with upto one mortgage):

Refinance: $850

Sale: $1150

Purchase: $1250

All prices INCLUDE typical conveyancing disbursements, GST and LINZ fees.

The prices above are given provided the transaction is reasonably straight forward with no disputes or negotiations involved, otherwise additional charge will apply for any extra attendances depending on the particular case.

There are certain circumstances where we have to charge extra, for instance:

- $150 extra if the property is a cross-lease or a unit / apartment 

- $100 extra if the property is being sold / purchased tenanted

- $150 extra for private sales

- Kiwisavers or HNZ Home Start Grants attract extra $75 as well (each per application)

- $300 extra for turn key packages, off plan or long term building contracts

Please contact us for a quote if your matter is not listed above - eg. the property is a leasehold, over $1.5 Million price or when dealing with companies, trusts, guarantees or if additional securities are involved
